Welcome to Buy My Toys Online. These terms apply when you browse our website or purchase from us. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Buy My Toys Online.

These terms must be read together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under South African consumer protection laws.

1. Using our website

You agree to provide accurate information when placing an order or contacting us.

Purchases must be made by someone legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Children should use our website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access or interfere with its operation.

2. Our products

We sell toys and related products as described in the individual product listings.

Please read each product’s description, recommended age range, dimensions, contents and safety information before purchasing. Accessories used for styling in photographs are included only where the description expressly says so.

We aim to show products accurately, but colours may appear differently depending on your screen. This does not affect your rights if a product materially differs from its description.

3. Toy safety

Follow all age recommendations, warnings, assembly instructions and care instructions supplied with a product.

Some toys contain small parts and may present a choking hazard. Adult supervision is required where indicated or appropriate to the activity.

Stop using a toy if it becomes damaged or appears unsafe, and contact us if you believe it is defective. These safety requirements do not exclude our responsibility for unsafe or defective goods under applicable law.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR), unless clearly stated otherwise.

Applicable taxes, delivery charges and any other mandatory charges will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.

Payments are processed through the payment providers available at checkout. Please submit payment information only through the secure checkout process, never by email.

If payment fails or is declined, your order may remain incomplete. Contact us if you are unsure whether a payment was successful before attempting another payment.

5. Orders and availability

After checkout, you will receive an order acknowledgement. This confirms receipt of your order and does not, by itself, guarantee stock availability or acceptance.

We accept your order when we confirm that it has been dispatched, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier.

We may decline or cancel an order for a lawful, reasonable reason, including unavailable stock, suspected fraud or an obvious pricing error. We will notify you promptly and refund any payment due. This does not permit us to cancel an order contrary to applicable law.

If an item is unavailable, we will not substitute another product without your agreement.

6. Errors and product information

We take reasonable care to keep prices, descriptions and availability accurate.

If we discover an error affecting your order, we will explain it and, where appropriate, offer you the choice of proceeding on corrected terms or cancelling for a refund. We will not charge you an additional amount without your agreement.

Your rights concerning advertised prices and product descriptions remain protected by applicable law.

7. Delivery

Available delivery areas, charges and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

Please check your delivery address and contact details carefully. If incorrect information causes additional delivery costs, we will explain those costs before arranging another delivery.

Delivery estimates do not remove any agreed delivery commitments or your legal rights if an order is delayed or not delivered.

We remain responsible for delivery as required by law. Please report missing, damaged or incorrect deliveries so we can investigate and assist.

8. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy for instructions, time limits and return costs.

Your statutory rights include applicable cooling-off rights for online purchases and remedies for faulty, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods.

No statement on our website, including a sale or promotional notice, overrides these rights.

9. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions are subject to the conditions disclosed with each offer, including expiry dates, qualifying products and usage limits.

Discount codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated. Promotional changes will not retrospectively alter an order we have already accepted.

10. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection law.

We use order information to process payments, arrange delivery, provide support and meet legal obligations, as explained in that policy.

11. Website content

Content owned by or licensed to us, including our branding, text and original images, may not be copied or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks and product names remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care in operating our website and supplying our products. Temporary website interruptions may occur.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising under the Consumer Protection Act. We do not require you to waive your statutory rights.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will show a revised date.

Changes apply to future purchases. Orders already placed remain subject to the terms applicable when the order was concluded, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

These terms are governed by South African law.

Please contact us first if you have a complaint so we can try to resolve it. You retain the right to approach an appropriate consumer protection body, ombud, tribunal or court.
